Forest essentials Sugared Rose Petal Lip Balm
Hey Girls!!
I am going to review Forest
essentials lip Balm today. It was a part of February My Envy Box, in which
it came enclosed in a cute white pouch from Forest essentials.
Before staring the review let me
tell you that these lip balms are available in two different types of
packaging. One is with a flip top cap and then this one with a screw lid though
they are priced the same 5g of lip balm in their respective containers. I like
the flip top one better and prettier but never mind, it looks equally tempting.
Price: These are priced at 595 rupees but you can get these 3
round ones for 1000 rupees as a gift pack.

Ingredients: Kokum Butter,
Organic beeswax, Cold Pressed Organic Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Gulab
jal, Rose Petal Powder, Base Q.S
Packaging: This Forest
essentials lip balm comes in a very beautiful
tub pack with a gold lid which adds a charm to its packaging. Inside the
tub resides this delicious looking Pink lip balm. The tub is covered with a
white lid to further keep it safe.
Experience: Sugared Rose Petal lip balm smells like
roses along with some other smell. Very herbal kind of!!
Its texture is very smooth and thin like oil unlike most of the other
lip balms which are tad heavy in consistency. Now, to make it more clear, it
feels like then same when you rub your finger on frozen butter. I just rub my
finger tip twice and that is more than enough, this is to let you know that
little quantity of this balm can go a long way but sadly, this need to be used
within 3 months as it is a herbal preparation.

On the lips, it gives slight tingling sensation for a couple of
minutes, which vanishes soon. My lips feel moisturized and velvety without
getting too heavy. It’s a feeling that is different from a lot of other lip
balms. I really like its moisturizing properties and the way it makes lips dewy, velvety and still looks I have
not applied anything at all. I use it at night on my dry and chapped lips and
wake up the next morning with soft, smooth and non flaky lips. The way it works,
is just amazing!!
I was going through its
ingredients list and get to know that it contains Kokum butter 40 %, Organic Beeswax 20 %, Cold Pressed Organic Almond Oil 10 %, Sweet rose water 3 %, Rose petal powder 2 % and all of that
makes 80% organic ingredients. The list says it all that how come it is so
effective in healing and protecting the lips.

It hydrates my lips for good 5 hours after which I need to apply again,
its fine in comparison with most of the other lip balms. The only thing that
bothers, can be its price but it justifies the price more or less.

Take: Forest essentials Lip
balm in Sugared Rose is a beautifully packaged lip balm that can hydrate lips
for more than 5 hours, repairs and heals dry and chapped lips effectively. I
will recommend it, especially to go before using extreme matte and drying lipsticks. It can work as a great base for
your lips without being greasy or altering the texture of your lipstick.
