Olay all in one Fairness Cream Review

Today, I will review Olay all in one fairness day cream. I have already reviewed Clean and clear fairness cream. I have oily/combination skin and finding a day cream that can work well without making me oily can be a difficult task. I got this more than a month ago, the time when the weather was moving towards fall and was much cooler.

Price: 79 INR for 20 g

This Olay cream claims to act as a fairness cream, moisturizer and a spot remover which is light and non greasy. These words that it is non greasy has actually made me buy this and I really wanted to check whether it will cater to my needs or not!

Olay fairness cream comes in a regular tube nothing very special and has a very mild smell which isn’t artificial. It’s a creamy white medium consistency cream which is very easy to blend and absorbed but I would suggest you to give it some extra seconds to massage your face properly so that it gets completely absorbed and while massaging try to be gentle on your face!

I use this after cleansing my face during the day. It isn’t greasy and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin which means that it gets absorbed well and skin feels hydrated and glowy but not oily.

Now, after a couple of hours, I see my oily areas shiny which is fine even if you don’t apply anything then also the oiliness and shine would be there. Its better to bloat the oil from shiny areas then!

It says that it has UV protection which we expect from a day cream though on the pack or anywhere, they have not mentioned the amount. If you wish you can use a sunscreen before using this. I will recommend you to try gel sunscreens if you have skin more on the oilier side.

Now, comes the question that you may be willing to know. Does it make you white? The whitening claim!! After using this for more than 3 weeks, I have seen improvement in my skin tone and texture but no whitening and I can’t say that whether it can remove tanning or not as I am not tanned as of now!

It also reminds me of the Lotus whitening microemulsion in terms of the texture and the way it gets absorb and also the lotus brightening gel cream.

It can be a good day cream for oily to combination skinned girls mainly due to the reason that it will not make you feel greasy and has not break me out yet and honestly, I would like to repurchase it at least once more.

I will suggest it to normal/combination to oily skin during the winters and only normal to combination skin during winters.

There are very few day creams that can actually work for oily skin types and I would say it is one of them unlike the Clean & clear fairness cream

It is very affordable and very easily available

You can get trial pack to try it before purchasing the bigger pack

It gets absorbed soon and doesn’t feel oily on the skin

Improves skin tone and texture

Has UV protection but have not specified the amount

List of ingredients mentioned on their official site as this was a trial pack

I haven’t faced any break outs or comedones.

Cons

Skin gets oily after a couple of hours.

Haven’t mentioned the SPF amount

Take- Olay natural white fairness day cream can be a perfect option for those with normal to oily skin types and have been seeking a day cream that could be affordable, easily available and should not be greasy ,then this can be a good option to try out!
