Oriflame All Over Makeup remover Review and how to use

Oriflame All Over Makeup remover
HI all!!
I will review Oriflame All over makeup remover today which I bought while on my search for good makeup remover after my dear Lakme absolute got over. Makeup removers are equally important just like the makeup products. I wonder what we would have done without them especially for waterproof makeup.

Oriflame All Over Makeup remover Review and how to use

This oriflame make up remover comes at 349 INR for 100 ml, you may get it less, depends, if they are running some offers.

I got it from eBay. in as I don’t know any oriflame representative here. Here means the new place we moved in. Thank you eBay you came as a help but I wish I didn’t browsed you that day.:/. You will soon know, why I said so!

Oriflame All Over Makeup remover Review and how to use

My Experience: This oriflame makeup remover comes in a see through purple plastic bottle with a cap, not flip top! The purple bottle looks beautiful. It says all over makeup remover so it isn’t specially formulated for your eyes or lips, but can be used all over the face. God!! That’s wonderful!!!
It isn’t a bi-phased makeup remover but a clear frothy liquid that smells of alcohol. When I got it, I was really happy as it seems promising and realized that it gives cooling sensation when evaporates once you applied on the skin. I could not wait longer to test it so, I immediately swatched some lipsticks and eye shadows on my arms to test it right away.

I pour some on the cotton pad and as soon as I swiped, I was disappointed as it only took off the lipstick and powder eye shadow which in anyways you can take off with plain water or cleansing milk but the water proof ones it was not able to budge off completely!
I didn't understand why they have named it makeup remover when it can’t even remove makeup properly. But wait, Did I mention? It’s a tad better than plain water. Yes!! It is.:/

This lipstick that you can see, is the long lasting lipstick with superb staying power and it was not able to remove it properly even after a couple of swipes, due to which I didn’t even tried removing gel liners like Maybelline and faces Canada eye pencils. Why waste products when it itself has revealed, it cant.:)

It dries out the skin so, even a cleansing milk would be more preferred over this. At least cleansing milk gives some moisture or excess greasiness can be washed off.
I think it is only for the non water proof makeup, not at all for waterproof makeup like liners, foundations, mascaras etc. I felt bad at the sheer wastage of the money as I had to order another makeup remover and that would take days to come as I had to do few eye makeup looks and it’s incapability of doing that made me irritated!

I was happy with my lakme Absolute one and got this only for trial so, after getting disappointed from this I immediately ordered Maybelline which was on my list since a long time.
If you follow regularly then, you may be aware how happy and was going gaga over MaybellineBi-phased makeup remover ever since I got it. You may read the review by clicking the link. :)
Bi-phased removers are great for getting rid of any kind of makeup but the only thing is they leave this greasy film over the face, so, here I got this idea that I would use this oriflame one after that to remove any greasiness left.
I have found out this way to use this product at least but I will not at all recommend it to anyone. For the price it comes at, it was a disappointment for what it could not do.

Rating: 2.25 out of 5

My take: Use cleansing milk if you wish to get rid of water based makeup and for waterproof ones, use some Bi-phased remover like lakme, Maybelline cheaper and far more effective than this. Not recommend this Oriflame All Over Makeup remover at all!
