IHA
Kerasoft Hair Conditioner Review
Hello
everyone,
Hair
conditioning is as important as cleansing them.,
Today,
I will review a hair conditioner which is from the brand IHA. I was not aware
about this brand until I saw it while browsing urbantouch.com one day. As usual,
I thought of trying it because the Conditioner that I was using earlier from Pantene
was almost finished and I needed a new one.
I keep on trying different products that sounds interesting till I get my Holy grail of the product. :D
I keep on trying different products that sounds interesting till I get my Holy grail of the product. :D
Price:
This IHA Kerasoft Hair Conditioner comes at 90 INR for 100 ml.
Claims: A gentle hair conditioner infused
with the goodness of hair nourishers and anti-infective herbal actives like
neem, tulsi, lemon, shikakai & kapurkachri that, leaves hair absolutely
soft and luminous, prevents dandruff and premature hair fall and nourishes hair
and scalp with hair strengthening benefits.
How To Use
Apply a small quantity of this
conditioner after shampoo onto scalp and hair from roots to tips and massage
for few minutes. Rinse off.
Ingredients: It
says that it has natural extract of the below mentioned things but other than
that nothing else is mentioned..
My Experience:
I had this conditioner since a couple of month and now it has already finished
weeks ago. It comes in a plastic bottle with a broad base that tapers upwards. I
kind of like its packaging. It looks nice ion the bath self.
It
has a citrusy smell, very herbal types which is good and not overpowering or
artificial smelling.
When
I used it for the first time I did realize that, you will need a little more of
this than you usually would. I applied it on my squeaky clean shampooed hair
and then waited for like 5 minutes and then rinse off. Ahh.. the smell !! I
still remember very refreshing, probably due to lemon peel extracts.
So
the experience till there was good. When I towel dried my hair then also,
it has mild fragrance still lingering and hair felt so soft. But I would also
like to mention that once the hair dries then there was a little frizz. My hair
are well behaved and silky enough so I will not say that its great since even
if I have not used it then also they would have been like that. But my ends
which required a little conditioning as they are dry, it did not help them. O,
I am damn sure that it will not prove effective for the people with dry hair
contrary to the claim it does.
Honestly,
for me it does a decent job if I ignore the dry ends, it was not able to condition
properly.
Pros
- Available at their eshop and Urbantouch.com
- Affordable and travel friendly
- Smells good and refreshing though not overpowering
- Makes hair soft and tangle free
- Gives some sheen to the hair though not for a long time.
Cons
- Complete list of ingredients not mentioned.
- Does not condition very dry hair or ends
- Requires a little more than the usual
Rating-
3.5 out of 5
My take:
Decent conditioner for normal hair but it’s not for the very dry hair. Not to
forget the herbal smell.
Nice review :)
ReplyDeleteI have pretty dry hair too so think I'll skip this :(
Thank you Neha..:)
Deleteno its not effective on dry hair.
Seems a good conditioner. Would love to try this out :)
ReplyDeleteTry it Megha, if you do not have super dry hair. :)
Deletei have never heard of this brand....i hate when companies dont mention the full ingredients:(
ReplyDeletewohi na.. hiding the ingredients doesn't make the product entirely a herbal formulation .:)
DeleteWhen companies don't give the complete ingredient list, I feel like they have something to hide. Why do they have to do that?
ReplyDeleteExactly Dollie, they have in fact lot to hide.. even some of the ingredients which are restricted or make the product appear free of chemicals, which is not possible, i suppose.
DeleteNice Review Neisha :) seems an average product
ReplyDeleteThanx dear, :) yup it's an average product.
DeleteI used to get attracted to such products but off late I have realized most herbal companies are mentioning only key ingredients to lure people. I had heard of this brand but now I don't feel like trying it. Thanks for the honest review.
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree! Himalaya herbals and other such companies miss out the complete list of ingredients most of the times and put only the herbal key ingredients but the what abt the others!
DeleteI am no more attracted toward such herbals things now!
