Hey girls!!
Every year, we see runways and Red carpets setting different
makeup trends like the bold orange lip that most of us have loved to the
crazily vibrant fuchsia lips. Graphic eyeliner was one of the most tried trends,
at least by me. Trends may keep changing but these trends are not just limited
to fashion and makeup or the hairstyle. Hair coloring too has become a key
trend even though it has been here since quite a few years now. We simply can’t
miss our celebs flaunting their mesmerizing colored or highlighted hair.
Hair coloring changes your entire look instantly which is why
chances are faint to ignore this growing trend. Every season, new shades will
come in trend but the thing is that they may not be for everyone. So, what
exactly you need to take care of or what points are to be taken into
consideration. You simply can’t go for hair color that will garner you odd
looks where ever you go. You really don’t want to be a living fashion disaster.
Let me tell you a short incident, back in my college days, I
had this craze of dying my hair in some reddish brown color. Really don’t have
any idea why I loved that hue at that time.
Trial 1: They
were red but not too much, I have dark brown hair so, may be the color needs to
show up with one more trial
Trial 2: It was
there but not the kind I visualized. Really?
Trial 3: even
before, I could see what I had ended up with, everyone around me started asking
me, why I have dyed my hair red.
Gosh! It was embarrassing. I then went back to my natural
dark brown.
Phew! Lesson learnt!
So, how exactly should you choose a color that suits you? To
color your entire hair, more subtle shades like mahogany, dark brown, honey,
rich brown, chestnut etc. would suit Indian hair though for highlights the
choice can be bolder shades.
Hair makeover experts says “Girls with fair complexion can
go with brown red, sun-gold streaks or brownish blonde highlights even bluish
fuchsia would do the job provided you can carry that well. People with wheatish
complexion can opt for shades like chocolate, copper brown, khaki brown and
honey blonde. Those with dusky complexion can try for coffee, caramel, charcoal
grey or mahogany”
I will be soon trying out L’Oréal
Paris Casting Crème Gloss hair colour in Praline Brown. Stay tuned will show you how it looks on my current
dark brown hair and overall experience with the product even though I have used
the brand in the past. It’s always exciting to try out new shades
(with new shades, I don’t mean dying my hair red at all) from a brand that I
have used and trust.
Thought I have never colored my hair, I really wanted to go Rihanna red at one point, If only I was daring enough. Love the effect hair color has ! :D
