MUA Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
Hi Girls!
Time for an eyeliner review! I think, I review eyeliners a lot. Such an eyeliner fanatic I am!! I got this in my MUA haul and there are still a couple of products left to review. This MUA liner is just for a pound which mean around 100 bucks, quite cheap excluding the shipping of course but are you aware about its price here in India? It is for 550 rupees, quite ridiculous!
Claims "Black waterproof eyeliner, water resistant and quick to apply goes on effortlessly"
Experience: MUA liquid eyeliner comes in a tiny, just a bit more than an inch tall bottle with a handle that tapers till it reaches to an end. So far, the eyeliner is just like a regular eyeliner, a similar design has been seen in Maybelline Hyper Glossy Eyeliner and also in Lakme Fantasy Shimmer Eyeliner but what sets it apart is its brush, which isn't an actual fibrous brush but a tapered shape resembles a thin brush that is actually made up of a single flexible plastic piece. It isn't sturdy like the tip of the felt tip pen eyeliners rather very flexible like the brush tips in the liquid liners.
Now, the point is whether I liked it? No, I don't!
Reason being it isn't very user friendly since the tip of the plastic thing is very sharp which gives streaky line and applying with this isn't an easy thing to do especially when you are toward the outer corner, my lashes would just interrupt and some liner would be on them, and still I am not sure whether I have got an even line or not! phew!
Honestly and in short! that wasn't a good idea to put plastic tip in an eyeliner.
Keeping that aside, the liner has a decent consistency like the hyper-glossy, similar glossy sheen to it that stays on even after it had dried. It requires two swipes to get a jet black color. The arm swatch that you see are that of two swipes.
It stays on the eye lids for decent time. The entire day, I can say but it isn't waterproof as it claims and also at times it will peel off from the inner corners. Thus, it stays the entire day without fading but can have such teeny weeny problems. Therefore, people who have this habit to rub their eyes should keep their hands off their eyes. Now see who's talking?:)
By the way, I use my liner brush to use this liner which performs better than the very unique plastic tip "brush".
I like the fact that MUA product, almost each one of them will bear stickers that display all the ingredients. Even this tiny bottle had the entire list on it!

Take: MUA waterproof liquid eyeliner is a decent eyeliner at this price, if wan to try it, go ahead nothing much to lose but it isn't something, I would recommend you.
