Herbal Hair oils in India
When
it comes to hair care, one suggestion that everyone would give you is to oil
your hair regularly. But do you really do that? I do, whenever I can squeeze
out time from tight schedule. Oiling
not only nourishes your roots but also improves your hair texture and strengthens
the hair strands especially if you have dry, brittle hair or if you are
struggling with hair loss! When we say hair oil, our preference would be herbal
hair oils that are packed with the goodness of various herbs and ingredients
like Amla, bhringraj, almond, shikakai etc. I will be listing some herbal hair
oils that are available in India, so that all those of you looking for herbal
or Ayurvedic hair oil can get to choose from this.
By
the way, you know you can also prepare such herbal hail oils at home but
that can be a tedious and time consuming task in this fast paced life so better for the ready made ones available in the Indian market.
Okay
so, here we go.
Himalaya Herbals Revitalising hair oil
Himalaya's
Revitalizing
Hair Oil claims to nourish hair and promote hair growth. The
non-sticky oil cleanses the scalp and makes hair healthier and more manageable.
It effectively moisturizes conditions and strengthens hair. It contains Indian
gooseberry that we call as Amla, Fenugreek that claims to control hair fall,
may be but can definitely give you smooth and lustrous hair!
Sesa herbal hair oil
Sesa
hair oil contains more than 2 dozens of herbs and the coconut oil is being used
as its base. It’s too strong fragrance can be a drawback but it is worth
trying. It isn’t that bad, trust us! I have used it earlier and recently bought
one more bottle of this hair oil. It works very well for my hair when they were
getting as dry as straw. With this, I have noticed fuller and shinier hair but
wait!! Don’t expect it to cure hair fall and hair fall is rarely controlled by
oils. Check your diet, stress levels etc that’s should definitely help.
Parachute Advansed Aurvedic hair oil
This
oil is amongst the popular hair oil brands in India, Unlike the regular one
which only had the coconut oil, this hair oil also contains Amla, Ghritakumari, Methi, Mehendi, Nagarmotha,, gosh, I haven’t even heard
about a lot of them but they surely does something good! It is not as strong
smelling like sesa hair oil and is perfect for hot oil treatments. It
penetrates the hair roots nourishing the hair from within leaving them healthy.
Dabur Vatika Olive hair oil
This
being the latest addition has the goodness of olive oil. Olive oil is known for
deep conditioning the hair. Other than that, it also contains proteins and aloe
Vera. It claims to coat the hair
shaft and restore luster to dull hair. Aloe Vera helps retain moisture thereby
making this as an effective conditioner.
Khadi Herbals hair oil
Khadi
makes a lot of hair oils like amla, bhringraj, lemon and bhringraj etc. You can choose as per
your hair requirement. Khadi Amla Oil claims to makes hair darker and prevents
premature graying of hair, controls dandruff, strengthen hair follicles. It
gives a natural shine and soft texture to the hair. It also helps to rejuvenate
hair that is dull and damaged and prevents split hair ends.
I
have used their Amla hair oil and it was decent, though takes time to get
rinsed.
There
were lot of other hair oils too but these were the ones that I find good to try!
