To keep your skin looking fresh and smooth, exfoliation is very important. I will review this new launch from Himalaya herbals, it is Himalaya herbals clear complexion whitening face scrub which brightens and reveals glowing skin.

I got this a around two weeks ago, I think or may be more than that. But I was using by Lakme face scrub so, hadn’t used it just after getting it. I do not switch products instantly just to review as it may have an adverse effect on the skin. I have seen my teenage cousins hopping on to every new launched product they see on the drugstore. I was the same couple of years ago, but now, I have changed some habits of mine for good!! Anyways, this scrub is Priced at 125 INR for the bigger 100gm pack and the smaller one for 70 bucks. Quite reasonable and affordable. Isn’y it?

How to use: Apply Himalaya Clear ComplexionWhitening Face Scrub in a circular motion on the face and neck. Rinse with water and pat dry. Use at least once a week for clear, glowing skin.

Experience- I wont say anything about the packaging since it’s the regular flip top cap one. I find such packaging user friendly and hygienic. It has a more than mild fragrance which reminds me of another Himalaya product, can't remember which one.

The scrub does have too many densely packed particles. The amount of the creamy base is more the apricot particles. The granules are of decently small size which makes it an effective scrub for even the sensitive skin. Densely packed granules can be rough for sensitive skin.

When I use this face scrub, I splash my face with water and take a dime sized amount in my palm, rubbing the product gently all over the face. While rubbing, I concentrate on my nose and chin, because these are the areas that tends to get greasy therefore are more prone to skin problems like whiteheads and blackheads.

You may know that dead skin and sebum gives a fair chance to bacterias to form a comeodone.So, its good to keep dead skin away. But don’t over scrub your face.

While washing this scrub off, it feels creamy like shampoo as in, it lathers mildly like a face wash and cleans the skin simultaneously.

What I like about this, is that it will not make your . Its due to its creamy base that doesn’t dry out the skin rather hydrates.

It is a good scrub that I will recommend to the sensitive or dry skinned people as it doesn’t make skin dry, like I said.

Now when it comes to fairness claims, let me say, when the dead skin cells are sloughed off. Skin looks smoother and brighter which glows, which makes me say that it does brightens or skin texture is improved,  fair enough!! But fairness, I still don’t think so.

Apart from that, it is a good scrub for oily skin and cleanser.

Take- Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening face Scrub is a scrub that is light on your pocket, not at all abrasive, still get rid of the dead skin cells effectively. Though it is suitable for all skin types, I will recommened it for dry to sensitive skinned people due to it's non drying nature and also the scrub particles are not too dense or rough!
