I have always thought that primers are just an added product when it comes to make up but after using this Nyx Studio perfect photo loving primer, my views were changed.

I love nyx as a brand and their products are really good that offers a wide variety of shades.

This Nyx Primer is available in three shade a clear one, which I have got and a lavender and  green one. 

Green primer is said to balance the redness of the face while lavender is to balance the skin dullness.

These are of $12 which would be approx 720 rupees but do you know they are being sold at 2400 INR on  sites like Meplusbeauty, Nykaa etc?

It’s like thrice the price. So, I will suggest you to buy this or other NYX products in bulk from international shopping sites that delivers to India.

The product has a gel like translucent texture which once blended feels powdery and silky. I take just a pea sized amount and dot it all across my face focusing more on the areas where I tend to get oily soon. While blending or rubbing this on the face, I feel as if this gel has turned into a silky powder that makes my skin very smooth to touch that my fingers would literally slips off my cheeks.

As soon as, I am done blending it, my face looks matte and better than before due to lesser visible fine lines. I don’t have skin that needs too much coverage right now, so, after using this most of the times, I do not use foundation at all, just the compact and I am done.

On other days, when I do use foundation, this primer makes my foundation glides smoothly and effortlessly on my skin. It really does helps my make up last longer. I noticed this the very first time, I used this. I was quite impressed!! That was a humid day and even after 4-5 hours my skin was matte and looked fresh since makeup was intact and there was no oiliness. I really like this primer for it’s oil control capability.

On certain days which were very hot, I noticed my nose getting oily soon which I don’t mind as in anyways that happens with me due to too much over active sebaceous glands on the tip so my nose, Although, rest of the face was still matte.

One more thing I would like to add here, this Nyx studio perfect photo loving primer does photographs beautifully as skin appears smoother. It fills any pores and fine lines due to which skin looks even toned and pore less.

It contains silicones due to which it gets it’s silky powdery nature primarily though even after using it for more than a month, It hasn’t break me out. I hope it never does.

Since you will need only a pea sized amount, I think this 30 ml tube will last for around 40 times.

Honestly, there are lots of product that I like but when it comes to repurchasing, I love to try new products, but this is one product, I will repurchase definitely, till the time I don’t get something similar or better product.

I am testing one more primer these days. Will review that very soon in  coming days.
If you have skin on the drier side then you may try Oriflame Perfecting face primer.

Take- I will highly recommend it to normal to oily skinned girls. It makes your makeup lasts longer and keeps skin matte for 5- 6 hours.
