Today, I am reviewing a lip color which is from Lakme Absolute matte range in the shade Peach carnation. I remember, Lotus herbals too have a shade called carnation which is way too different than this.

Price- These Lakme Absolute matte lipsticks are for 395 INR and comes in a grey steel kind of packaging that looks decently pretty.

Peach carnation is a peachy brown color which reminds me of a color that is suitable and will be more liked by people who likes to wear subtle shades especially to office. It is very warm color which undoubtedly will suit Indian skin tones. Dusky skinned girls may find this shade very soft and subdued for their complexion.

These lipsticks have a similar texture to that of Lakme 9 to 5 as they also comes with very powdery matte kind of formula which applies smoothly.

Pigmentation is average I would say, but thankfully builadable as in single swipe you get a sheer color and with 2-3 swipes you can attain decent enough intense color. 
I find this thing to be exact same with Brilliant kiss as well that was my first lipstick from this Absolute matte range.

On my lips, it looks peachy brown only but on dark lips it can looks more brown and pigmented pink lips they may appear a bit warmer as in more peachy.

It will be possible for this color to hide the pigmentation on your lips but as I mentioned, it needs 2-3 swipes.

Just like it’s name, it's a completely matte shade. You will have to scrub your lips properly before applying this as it could accentuate your flaky lips. Even though it’s a matte shade still I would call it's formula moisturizing. Yes, it does hydrates my lips and feels very light as if I am not wearing anything on thelips as compared to some other lip products where in you feel that you have something on your lips.

Staying power is 4 hours on me before I need to apply it again. 
If you have meals in between then, there will be some color on your lip before it wipes off completely.

I do not have too many fine lines or I should say deep lines on my lips so, for me, it was okay. Moreover, I don’t think this will settle in to your fine lines too!

I still remember, I haven’t been a fan of their range when I got my first one but this lipcolor Peach carnation has changed my opinion a bit as it is slightly more pigmented than Brilliant kiss and also in terms of the staying power.   
I think a similar color is there in 9 to 5 lipstick range too which are far more pigmented than these lipcolors.

Therefore, honestly, I will say, rather than these Lakme absolute matte lipsticks, go for Lakme 9 to 5 at similar price.

Take- Lakme Absolute matte lipsticks comes with nice packaging and arevery affordable but the only thing that can bother you is their pigmentation as they aren’t very pigmented though are perfectly matte and with decent staying power. Do try these if you like any colorfrom this range else you can look through 9 to 5 range with similar texture and formula but better pigmentation.
