Elle 18 Glow Compact Review of the shade Marble

Hey Everyone!!
How are you! I hope you had a great Diwali and enjoyed a lot! I did the same but got a bit tired so was relaxing the entire day and then, thought I should share this review with you as a lot of young readers have been showing loads of interest in this new Elle 18 range!
So, here I am with the compact review. By the way; I have already reviewed Eyeliner here and juicy lip balm here. You can see if you missed!
This compact is priced at 150 rupees for 8 g which I think is affordable for people on a budget.

At similar price, I will also recommend you to try Lakme perfecting and Perfect Radiance compact, they both are really good.
Just like their other products this compact also has black packaging and with the same chic girl on the pack! It looks decent.
Inside there is a puff which I really like as it is very soft and works very well. There is a mirror just opposite the pan.
This Elle 18 Glow Compact is available in 4 shades:
Pearl

Coral

Marble

Shell

These shades are very exactly same which they have named for Lakme perfecting foundation. I don’t know why but I really liked that foundation.
Anyways, I find this Elle 18 Glow compact to be very smooth in texture and not chalky at all. I mean even if you have dry skin, it will not make it further dry. I have combination skin and it did well by absorbing oil and the oily areas were matte for around 2hours after which it needs to be applied again.
This color marble is for skin types which are in between fair to medium. It blends nicely and mattifies my skin.
I used it first time when I did the festive look only with ell 18 products See here and since then I have liked this compact.

I used it today as well over the regular BB cream, you know by now that I ma talking about Pond’s BB cream and the finish it gives is smooth and not chalky.
I wish they should have mentioned the ingredients on the pack but there aren’t any.
Though it has not break me out yet, this is the most concerned fact for an oily skinned person like me. It has not reacted badly or anything like that so far!!

Pros of Elle 18 Glow Compact:
It is decently priced or rather on the inexpensive side. Very pocket friendly.
Nice girly packaging.
Comes with an inbuilt mirror
Has got a soft and smooth puff which makes the application a lot more easier and even.
Texture is not chalky
Very good formula that makes kin matte
Smooth and satin finish
It has not break me out
Blends really very well on the skin
Mattifies the skin and keeps it oil free for couple of hours after which you need to re apply.
Suitable for all skin types

Cons of Elle 18 Glow Compact :
Availability is a big cons as I haven’t seen it available online though offline it is available in some stores.
Ingredients list is missing

Rating: 4 out of 5

Take: I will recommend this Elle 18 Glow compact powder to those of you who are seeking a budget, pocked friendly compact that fares decently even if you have oily skin.

PS: PR sample though review is honest as always!!

  8. The name is actually a true representation of the shade. Actually looks very white, like Marble. I don't use compacts but god to know abt this one, can suggest to others who are looking for a budget buy. I agree ingredients should have been mentioned.

I have used maybelline too and that was a bit thicker so gives some coverage and this one is fine and very smooth to blend. I like this one better.

    1. Hey Pallavi,
Lakme 9 to 5 foundation ahs three shades and I think marble should be the one. To confirm you can swatch Ivory fair and the 3 shades of 9 to 5 range at the counter and which ever matches closely would be your pick!
