Home made fruit face pack for glowing skin
Hey
Everyone!!
How
often do you apply face packs? I use them twice a week. Once a pimple pack that
can consist of sandalwood, neem powder etc and then a home made fruit face pack after a
couple of days for the glowing skin.
My
inclination towards DIY (Do it yourself)beauty remedies has made me try a lot
of fruit face packs so far and recently when someone mailed me regarding some packs made at home that can make their skin glowing.
So, I
thought answering them over the E-mail will help only a handful of people whereas
hopefully posts can be useful for a lot. Therefore, decided, I will be keep
doing such skin care tips posts every other day or daily if I could squeeze out some time.
Alright
then, here we go:
Apple
and Milk face pack- "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" very well said. Apples
can be great when ingested though their use as a face pack/ mask can also not be neglected.
To prepare an apple pack, you have to take half apple, some honey and milk.
Now, I will not be telling the proportions as you can adjust the proportion as
per the desired consistency and an ideal face pack consistency should be not
too runny or too thick but in between.
Take
the apple peel off and put it in the mixer with some milk, which can also be
added later on. And also the honey. Mix the paste and other two ingredients well and your apple face pack is
ready. It will be gooey in consistency!! Only a teaspoonful or even less than that
of milk is sufficient else the paste will become too runny and will start dripping off your chin.
Take
a little bit of this paste and apply
it like a cream on your clean face with massaging the face very gently with your finger
pads. You can do this for around a minute or two. Massaging increases blood
circulation and also releases tension!!Yaay! but temporarily!
Now,
you may go ahead and use the remaining mixture on your face. It will not get completely
dry becoz of the honey in it therefore, you need to leave it for 20 minutes. (Don’t
wait for it to get dry completely)
Rinse
it off and notice a glowing skin. Apples contain Vitamin B complex in decent amount and Vit C due to which
it helps in scar lightening, skin lightening etc and also mild exfoliation.
Banana
and lemon- This fruit being very rich in Phosphorus can be a great face mask
and has the great capability to give you
smooth glowing skin within minutes. It’s my tried and tested one, which is
really easy to do. All you need to do, is to take a banana and eat half of it and use the other half of the pack, as full banana will be way too more than sufficient and then there will be left overs.
See,
with these face packs, you will also get to eat some fruits, if in case, if you are as lazy
like me when it comes to eating them!:D So, these are double fayda (Benefit) masks for
you!
Now, Mash
the banana, they are easy to get mashed unlike the apples and you can very
easily mash it with spoon, I use a fork
which makes it lot more easier. Then, add a couple of drops of lime juice.
Please see, if you are not too sensitive to lime juice. If you aren’t then, add
half a teaspoonful, if you are, then a couple of drops would be fine. Lime juice can be a good dose of Vitamin C for your skin.
Again,
before hopping on to use this as a mask take some, massage for 2 minutes and
then apply the rest as a face pack as I suggested earlier.
Give
it some time to work, I give it 20 minutes, then rinse with plain water. Not too
hot or too cold.
Lemons
are known to lighten the skin and fade the acne scars, dark spots etc and
banana gives glowing skin and hydrates the face.
These home made face packs are all skin types
which you can customize a bit though suitable for everyone!
Sensitive skin people: Be gentle while massaging and the amount of lime juice drops you add.

I dont like banana smell, how can it be avoided?? Can we add rose water to this
ReplyDeleteWhen we add lime juice then it masks the smell of banana a bit. Rose water will make it runny dear and it will drip so use honey it will be good with banana. I did it just now.
