I am reviewing Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipsticks which I bought last year from Tesco superstore when they were on 3 for 2 offers. I bought lots of Rimmel Products as its one of my favourite brands.

Just love Rimmel!

Here are the shades which I Bought: Asia and Fudge Brownie. Both shades are quite neutral. Although I love bright shades a lot but these are also good enough for a change to neutral ones. These are Regular Wearable shades i.e. office wear. You get huge colors choice.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick Asia: Asia is very pretty mauvy pink. Its girly shade and very much pigmented too. Formula is awesome as does not dry your lips. But Texture is very creamy, so every chance to get smudge or bleed. You can feel the buttery effect on lips which makes them look healthy, juicy n fuller. Also, due to its smooth texture, it does give the feel & shine of a lip balm. As I said I bought this lipstick a year ago but have only started wearing them regularly now. Would suit all skin tones, subtle and natural enough to be worn during the daytime and would be appropriate for office use. Not very happy with the staying power though, only lasts 3 hours against 8 hours as claimed by Rimmel. But it does leave a nice stain after fading. It has a bubble gum fragrance which is ok for me. I won’t say must have lipstick but will definitely appeal to those who are very fond of neutral shades.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipsticks in Fudge Brownie: It is a brown colour with golden shimmer in it. Regular wearable or for evening parties and suit all skin tones. It goes best with Indian attires and brightens your face as well. The smoothness and shines will turn heads up wherever you go. It is also creamy in texture, gives a nice soft, moisturising feel on the lips and did not make my lips tight .Pigmentation is superb but not happy with the staying power even though it is better than Asia. Smell is very pleasant and does not bother you at all. It gives a nice glittery look and glides smoothly on lips without tugging. It is one of the flattering colours which give your lips more definition. I am quite happy with this lipstick except for staying power. After fading it leaves a shiny brown tint.

Packaging: Comes in dark purplish lip case which looks metallic and there is silver ring in the middle with Rimmel London brand name embossed over it. There is a bullet with the colour name and number pasted on one side of the lipstick which is very helpful in in identifying the colour if you have a few of them. It is very sturdy, classy and travel friendly too.

Texture: Due to Creamy texture I would suggest you to keep this lipstick in a cool place, preferably a refrigerator in hot weather. As it melts easily, can create a mess, so be aware.

Pros:

• Both shades are very pretty
• Bubble-gum Fragrance doesn’t bother you for long time
• Smooth texture
• Does not dry your lips
• Glides like silk
• Pigmentation is ok
• Packaging is classy, sturdy and travel friendly
• Very creamy in texture
• Even application
• Great ranges of shades
• Good Moisturising 

Cons:

• Poor staying power of 3 hours compared to 8 hours claimed. Need to retouch which I don’t like
• Very creamy in texture, so can easily melt and create mess
• Bleeds and transfers
• Smell can bother some

Final Take: Quite happy with pigmentation, texture, smoothness of Rimmel London Long Lasting lipsticks but not with the staying power. Great choice of colours, so pick one that you like and give it a try!
