I
will review Lotus Herbals Microemulsion from their whiteglow range which is a great product for oily skin.
Fair
clear skin is like a dream for most of the girls, that’s what I used to think
when I was a teenager but now, I strongly believe that your skin should be
clear and healthy regardless of the complexion. I got this Microemulsion to
brighten up my complexion and get rid of tanning.

My experience:
This Lotus Herbals product comes in a pump dispenser and the bottle is made up
of glass, heavy it is!!
I
always stress that how much I like pump dispensers. They are so convenient to
use. And also no product is getting into your finger nails. Dispenser works
fine and pours out adequately. For me it gets full points in packaging but
handle it carefully, you may drop it accidentally and the bottle may break.
This
lotion has creamy white with thick consistency but as soon as you apply it becomes
a little gel like and gets absorbed fully without giving and oily feel. It has
a mild fragrance.
This
is my third bottle. It says that it has SPF 25 and Grape, Mulberry, Saxifraga
extracts with Milk enzymes.

I have noticed that this cream has even toned my skin and improved the texture. It has a light texture and feels like as you have applied a moisturizer which does not makes your skin greasy. It has a light weight formula.
I
use to apply this once in the morning and this bottle lasted for about one and
half months.
My
main purpose to use this lotion was to get rid of tanning during summers which
it does effectively moreover, without making your skin oily or sweaty.
It
was included in my summer day time skin care regimen and I really like this and
that is the reason, I bought it again as other creams and lotions can make my
skin oily which it doesn’t and also takes care of my tanning.

Let’s sum up the pros and cons of this Lotus Herbals Microemulsion. By the way, I have already reviewed Lotus whitening and Brightening gel cream.
Pros of Lotus Herbals Micro-Emulsion Whiteglow:
- It is easily available at drugstore, lotus counters and online shopping portals.
- Price is okay for the quantity.
- Texture and formula is light weight which gets absorbed easily.
- It improves skin tone and texture
- Helps get rid of my tanning upto a noticeable extent.
- Packaging is travel friendly with a pump dispenser.
- Suitable for oily skin
Cons of Lotus Herbals Micro-Emulsion Whiteglow:
- It has parabens
- It does brighten up my skin but I do not believe the whitening claim.
My
take: If you are an oily skinned beauty who is looking for a day cream or lotion
that can improve skin tone and texture then do try it. However, do not get
intimidated by the fairness or whitening claim.
I surely like its packaging..and whitening uhh..nothing does that!

ReplyDeleteThanks Preetha. Even if these products have herbal extract but still they would require emulsifiers, emollients and preservatives but still they will call them Herbal, natural or what not..:(

ReplyDeleteHi Nisha. It does not makes the skin greasy but can also not control it. I have an oily nose so when i use it, my nose feels okay but after a couple of hours it gets oily, so it doesn't control oil.
