Hello everyone,
I will do a review on a product that I
have been using since quite a long time and that is Garnier skin naturals body
cocoon lotion. It actually came along with the Garnier wrinkle lift cream this
time that my mom uses. I love trying different body lotions during winters,
same goes with most of us I assume.

This lotion comes at 185 Rs for 250
ml, the one that I have is a promotional pack of 120 ml.
If I compare the price, then it is pretty
much similar to the other popular body lotions available in the Indian market for the same quantity.

Experience: This
Garnier body lotion is formulated
for dry skin and comes in an
attractive bright orange pack with a
flip top cap which makes it travel friendly. It has a sturdy cap so you do not
have to worry about it spilling and spoiling the other stuff in your bag.
It says that it has fruit oils, I checked
the ingredients and found out that it has avocado oil, olive fruit oil, black
current seed oil etc. which are really good when it comes to moisturization. Apart
from that it contains methylparaben and propylparaben. Yes, they do have their
own fair share of side effects. But we may not run from them. as most of the body
lotions or other cosmetics have them as when it comes to cosmetics Parabens act
as preservatives.

This body lotion has a cream like
thick consistency unlike the regular body lotions that are somewhat runny. It gets
absorbed after some massaging and leaves a mild fragrance which is not too
overpowering. I remember even Parachute advanced lotion smells extremely good.
I must say that it is very hydrating
and once you use it does makes the skin soft and moisturized and dewy looking. If
you have extremely dry skin then you may have to reapply it after 3-4 hours or
the parts of the body that are very dry. In my case they are my feet, they are
very dry.. No matter how much lotions I apply. So, I always make sure to use a
thick lotion, massage it and then leave.
Overall, I like this body lotion a
lot. I think I like most of them..lol.
Anyways, it is value for money for
money product.

- Parabens (but we may not run from them )

DeleteYes, parabens are unavoidable most of the times, as they are preservatives which are added to check the microbes infection and increasing the shelf life of the product.
