L’oreal
Paris Intense Smoothing Conditioner Review
Guest post by Monissha
Hello all,
Today, I thought of reviewing L’oreal Paris smooth
intense smoothing conditioner which I bought recently and sorry about the
hazy and not so clear pictures. Anyways, it’s a conditioner and we are more
concerned about the product experience. :D
Price- 150 INR
Quantity- 180 gm
Ingredients- Aqua / water , behentrimonium chloride , stearyl
alcohol , cetyl alcohol , elaeis guneensis oil / palm oil , glycerin , CI 19140
/ yellow 5 , ci 14700 / red 4 , hydroxyethylcellulose , hydrolysed silk ,
stearamidopropyl , dimethylamine , argania spinosa oil / argania spinosa kernel
oil , chlorhexidine dihydrochloride , camelina sativa oil / camilina sativa
seed oil ,limonene , linalool , benzyl salicilate , benzyl alcohol , octyldodecanol
, hexyl cinnamal , amyl cinnamal , parafum / fragrance ( F.I.L. c39402/2).
Packaging- It is provided with a flip-flop cap. It should be
placed upside down with the cap facing bottom-wards as the other end is curved.
What the company claims- For the 1st time the L'Oreal laboratories have
succeeded in combining Argan oil & silk protein, which is naturally rich in
essential fatty nutrients:
Deep nourishment: the crème formula nourishes and smoothes your hair
from root to tip making it more smooth & manageable
48H* Protection: the formula shields your hair from the effects of
humid or dry weather, like unruly and unmanageable hair
My Experience- I generally use Oriflame conditioner and then I had
to travel suddenly so I forgot to take my conditioner with me. So, for the need
of the hour, I got this one from the local market on an emergency basis use
because of the brand. On my first use, I found this somewhat ‘ok-kind’, as I
had natural hair treatments before that :P .But on my second use, I found
this conditioner totally disgusting. It made my hair lot frizzy and rough. I
usually have a dry hair, so I don’t know if it might suit for oily scalps.
It is golden yellow in color and has a very pleasant
smell which lingers on even after washing for good 2-3 hours.
Pros
- Packaging is good and travel friendly.
- It smells nice.
- Product is quiet affordable.
- It is easily available in all super markets
Cons
- It makes hair frizzy.
- It is not up to the claims.
- It does contain silicones.
Rating- 2 out of 5
My Take- I totally dislike this conditioner expect for the
pleasant smell it had. I never dared to use it again on my return. For such a
brand name, it was not up to my expectation and i will not recommend it to
anyone.
