Shaping and maintaining them is very important to
make them look attractive, no matter what shape you have, angled, arched, flat
or round.
Some of us are blessed with fuller and thicker brows but some may have sparse eyebrows or bald spots. To hide those and getting a perfectly shaped eyebrows, filling them can be a great method. Depending on your requirements there are different products like pencils, eyebrows powders and waxes.

Here are some tips and tricks:
To deal with sparse eyebrows or bald spots filling
in your eyebrows can give a wonderful result though temporarily.
First of all, start by choosing a color that suits your natural brows and to fill in you can use a brow pencil, powder, wax etc.
use feather light strokes to fill in the gaps or spots and to make the shape even and clean.

Avoid harsh effects as it gives unnatural look. (I
have to do it deliberately sometimes as while taking closeups even if your
brows don't need much filling, it appears sparse and tiny spots may look like
huge!)
once you are done filling in, use an eyebrow brush to give a more natural look there by blending some harsh strokes.

To keep your eyebrows hair in place, spray some hair
spray on your finger and dab on to your eyebrows or you may also use brow gels.
If you already have thick and shaped eyebrows, but you are still worried about
those unruly hairs then either trim them as required or using a brow gel can be
useful.

DeleteI only realised how important filling in your eyebrows is until about a year and it has changed my life!! The first time I did it and met up with my best friend she was like 'what have you done to your eyebrows...they look amazing!' and since then I have always made sure I fill them in with brown powder before I go out. Great tips! :)

I strongly agree with you, even i used to ignore them but since the day i tried this fill in thing, they look a lot more neat. It is a saviour when accidently you mess up with your brows.:)

ReplyDeleteThank you!

Hi Niesha, I had read this post :) thanks for reminding me. In the pic above have you filled in using a pencil? I have tried that but my comment on today's post was about filling using a powder, a pictorial on how to do the strokes, what kind of brush to use etc. In this post above, by eyebrow brush, do you mean the comb groomingbrush for eyebrows? I ask many questions but I know you will enlighten me patiently my friend :)
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure Gagan:)
DeleteIt is the same grooming brush or say comb any would do. At that time i was using eyebrow pencil and was not quiet satisfied so now i am using the brow powder which gives a nice finish.
I only fill in my brows for the tutorials because i have to take close ups.
But i will post an eyebrow filling tutorial with the powder soon.:)
Thank you Niesha :) Even with the pencil, the brows look quite nice and finished. I want to give it a try too. I will check with you about the pencils over email.
DeleteSure dear, sorry missed this comment here .:)
DeleteReally informative post especially since i have really faint eyebrows
ReplyDeleteGlad u liked! :)
