Hello all,
Hello all,
I
am new to the blog but feel so attached to it. I have been reading the posts
for quite some time and really love and enjoy reading each and every review. I
am…rather I was a no makeup girl but now have started using some sort of
makeup…started with eye pencils :-D….at least now I have come to know something
about the makeup.
I
am going to write about Olay moisturizing cream today and share my experiences
with all of you. The cream comes in light pink color in a wide tub with a soft
and pleasant fragrance.

Olay Moisturizing Cream Review |
My experience: I really like this cream because of its mild fragrance
and does not make my skin oily-oily as I have normal skin but God has blessed
me with oily T-zone too :-P. Had the natural face oil been used anyway for some
good purpose I would have been the happiest person…sorry for the pj! J. And yes the quantity of the cream that comes in the
tub is also ample which feels me like…my dil goes mmm mmm mmm.
The
cream comes off the tub easily because of the wide mouth of the tub. Also you
do not have to dig much with the astra and shastra into it to get the last
trace of the cream. My skin feels good, soft and smooth after applying the
cream. The only thing I wonder about the cream is its ingredients like some
kind of alcohol and some kind of urea!!! Only first three ingredients are known
to me and had studied about isopropyl in chemistry during school days :-P.
A
small amount of it does a god job and it lasts for 30-45 days if applied daily
(but not twice a day as mentioned in the directions). I wish the cream had some
spf elements then it would have been my favorite of favorites cream J. My all time favorite is Boroline which I use as
night cream (don’t know if its good practice)
This
is how the cream looks outside the tub.
Olay Moisturizing Cream Review |
Pros:
Nice
fragrance
Does
not feel sticky or greasy
Makes
skin soft (only for few hours though :-P)
Absorbs
well into the skin
No
breakouts experienced
Does
not produce oil if you have applied it and step out in the sun
Can
be applied before applying makeup
Decently
priced
Ample
quantity for Rs.399 :-D
Cons:
The
only con if found is that it contains parabens!
My take It’s a nice moisturizing day cream which can be
applied indoors and outdoors (with sunscreen ofcourse :-D). The cream will suit
normal to oily skin people as it not too greasy. But dry skin people might not
find it their skin type of cream. I would definitely recommend it to the all
the readers as I am using the second tub now :-D
My Rating 4.5/5 (.5 deduction is for the parabanes).
