Maxfactor
Earth Spirits Eyeshadow in Ultra Aqua review and swatch
Hey everyone,
I have purchased this Maxfactor eye
shadow in Ultra Aqua 131 three weeks ago while browsing the online sites and
today, I though of sharing a review on it.
A little Trivia - Max Factor Company was
founded during 1909 by Maksymilian Faktorowicz (1877 – August 30, 1938)
What the Company claims- Make room in your make-up bag for
the ultimate everyday eye shadow! With a light, silky texture, Earth Spirits is
ideal to create a subtle day look for the office or a dramatic, sexy look in
the evening. Micro color pigments mean that colors are resistant to creasing or
fading and there's a color to suit every occasion - choose from soft neutrals
through to strong, fashion colors hot off the catwalks of Milan and Paris. It's
so versatile that make-up artists love to use it as an eyeliner as well.
Packaging- Regular round pot with a translucent lid with Max factor
embossed.
My experience- I would say that the packaging is okay. It does not have an
inbuilt mirror or applicator. I think the Colorbar eye shadow has the better
packaging, If I compare the packaging.
As far the color is concerned it is a
lovely teal color. Texture is good and satiny or pearly however, the
pigmentation is just average.
Application is okay. Staying power is
below average so, you will need a primer. I am not impressed much with this
product. I have used this for an eye look; color looked good though this eye
shadow is not long lasting.
The color makes it appropriate for smokey eye makeup.
I bought this with high
expectations but it is just an average product nothing special that you can’t
get in any other eye shadow of some other brand at the same price.
