Hi girls!!
Some of us
may be blessed with flawless skin and for others concealers exist. I will
review Oriflame Studio Artist Concealer in the shade dark in this post. Few
weeks ago, I had reviewed Oriflame studio artist foundation and this concealer
is from the same range. It comes in 3 shades i.e. light, medium and
dark. It is said that concealers should be a shade or two lighter than
your foundations but concealers very light than your skin tone will give you
reverse circles making flaws even more visible. Hence should be avoided. I have also reviewed the Oriflame perfecting face primer here.
I have liked
this entire studio artist range which consists of gorgeous cream blushers,
loose powders, compacts, foundation, lipsticks and concealers. Even price of
this range is quite affordable.
Price- Oriflame
Studio Artist Concealer is priced at 279 rupees for 10 ml
Ingredients-
Aqua, Cyclopentasiloxane, Titanium Dioxide, Cyclohexasiloxane,
Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Dimethicone, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone,
Polyglyceryl-3 Oleate, Cera Alba, Phenyl Trimethicone, Ethylhexyl
Methoxycinnamate, Silica, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Hydrogenated Castor Oil,
Sodium Chloride, Propylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea,
Propylparaben, Disodium Edta, Trimethoxycaprylylsilane, Alumina, Parfum,
Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Camelia Sinensis Extract, Linalool, Phenoxyethanol, BHT
Experience- This Oriflame
Concealer comes in a black cardboard case that bears all the details about this
products like ingredients (which even I have listed for you above), claims,
price etc. the actual product is in a tube with a nozzle. The tube hardly
stands 4 inches tall but for the price it is decent.
Unlike the
pot concealers, tubes are very easy to use. Consistency is quite okay for a
concealer but I at times feel that it is runny. It can cover minor flaws but
won’t be able to cover the heavy darkness under the eyes. When used for, to
cover a blemish or zit then too, I find this okay since it is a bit runny due
to which chances are that it will take efforts to keep it in place and setting
with a translucent or loose powder becomes must.
For the
price, I can’t really pin point lot of flaws in this since keeping in mind its
price, it’s a good budget buy. It is available in three shades, light medium
and dark as I said. The shade dark is my skin tone and matches it quite well, I
picked it up as I wanted the concealer to be the same shade as my complexion as
I wanted to use that for the puffiness under the eyes that can be treated well
with a shade darker or the same shade, the regular 2-3 shades lighter concealers
can accentuate the puffiness and are meant more for covering the dark circles.
For bluish/purplish
dark circles you can try orange concealers/correctors before using this. Orange
corrector works well to neutralize the purple/blue hues under the eyes
providing a neutral base for these regular concealers to do their job better without
making the under eye area ashy or grey!
It doesn’t
crease as much which is a good thing about this concealer.
Summing up
all the points.

crease much
Cons of Oriflame Studio Artist Concealer

Take: Oriflame Studio Artist Concealer is a
decent concealer that can be tried if you’re a beginners and don’t need too
much coverage or concealing. For minor dark circles or blemishes , it can act
well though don’t expect much from it!
