absolute gloss stylist lip gloss which is the shade Neon Pink. I have done the review for Lakme absolute Gloss stylist coral sunset here and today, I will be sharing this Neon
Pink color.

Neon Pink is entirely true to its
name. It’s a neony cool pink that has the potential to brighten up your
complexion if you have a light skin tone, at the same time it can wash out the
duskier skin tones badly! The color is
cool and lacks the appropriate warmth to really suit and go with the darker
complexion.
It’s a color that I personally will recommend
to fair skinned girls.
It has light reflecting micro
particles that add dimension and juiciness to the lips making them look bigger
and plumper.
Pigmentation of this Lakme Absolute
Gloss Stylist is good. It requires around 2-3 swipes to get a
true color and can be worn over a lipstick or own its own. It leans more
towards the thicker lip glosses than the sheer ones.

It does feel sticky but nothing that will keep
the lips sticking annoyingly while you talk. It keeps my lips hydrated till the
time it’s there and even after it’s gone! On me, it stays on an average for 3
hours after which I had to touch up. It will actually depend if you’re having
meals in between and when but to be precise as a gloss due to its thick
texture, it stays on for decent time.
Even though it has a thicker texture, it
tends to get patchy as the wand isn’t the best in shape to give a good even
finish and also the formula. Even when I talk, it gets uneven and patchy. Therefore,
I had to kind of blend that with my finger.
It’s a gloss so, you can expect slight
bleeding from the edges.

These Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist glosses are prices at 700 INR which I think are overpriced. 400 - 500 rupees would have been ideal price for these keeping in mind the texture, pigmentation and other aspects. I liked wearing it on its own as on my complexion it gives more like a natural pink with slight neon hues which I like. It’s a color that I will wear for the day time with simple eye makeup. Nothing too dramatic.

Take: Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist gloss in Neon
Pink is a cool neon pink that will suit fair skin but can wash out the medium
to dark skin since it lacks the adequate warmth but definitely it’s a perfect color
to sport the neon trend this summer on your lips. It glides smoothly, has a good pigmentation
due to which it covers the lips properly and allows you to wear it on its own
or over a lipstick. Staying time is decent though gets patchy which may ask for
frequent touch ups. In my case, I would rather smear it with my fingers to keep
it even till the time it’s on my lips. You can go for it if you like the color
or don’t mind the price but there are other options that you may consider for
lesser price.
