I
will be reviewing Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick in this post. I am really impressed
with this range with their mostly matte shades and great colors that are
perfect for office.
I will
swatch this color post Beige post which was there in my Lakme styling kit.

Experience- This Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick comes in a rose gold packaging which looks really classy with brans name and details embossed on it. I am a fan of their packaging, I like it even more than any other Lakme lipstick packaging.
Name
of the shade is there on the bottom of the tube. Overall, It scores full points
when it comes to packaging.
Their
bullet is not pointed like regular lipsticks but is slanted and has a flat top. These
days, I am liking flat top bullets a lot.

This
color beige post is a pale peachy color that has shimmers which is quite
obvious or I should say, the shimmers are little gritty. I will call it as a beigey color
with peachy undertones. Now, when we say beige, you can imagine this will be a
color that can wash you out especially if you are on the dusky side.

If you will see the arm swatch, you will notice that it looks a bit more peachy but on the lips it appears a lot lighter.
And also, the
bullet looks a lot warmer and dark which isn’t the case as I mentioned
earlier, so refer to the swatches instead of the bullet. If I look at the
bullet, it looks a great peachy/ apricot kind of color that flatters on most of
our Indian skin tones but this isn’t the reality.
In spite of silver shimmers in it, it has a matte formula. It will glide smoothly on the
lips and will not make the lips dry but then it becomes really important to
exfoliate/scrub your lips properly else flakiness can be quite evident.
Pigmentation is average for this shade but others are pigmented.

Staying
power is okay as it stayed on my lips for 4 hours and it was there till I had to
retouch it!

Honestly,
it’s a color that I would have never bought as I am more into warmer and
brighter colours.
I
may not be impressed with this color and it’s shimmery texture but nonetheless,
I will try other colors like Pink Bureau or Scarlet drill or even red chaos
which suits my taste.

on the pros and cons of Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick beige post
Pros
- Availblility
- Affordable
- Classy packaging that looks really beautiful
- Matte hydrating formula
- Keeps lips soft
- Staying power is decent 4 hours until you need to touch up.
- Glides really smoothly on the lips
Cons
- You need to exfoliate lips properly
- Shimmers, which isn’t too fine
- This color will wash out duskier skin tones
- Average pigmentation
Rating-
3 out of 5 (rating is for the color beige post else this range it good enough
to get a 4 on 5)
Take-
Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick range has mostly matte colors that are hydrating and
keeps the lips soft with a decent staying power. This color beige post is
more on the lighter side that will wash out certain skin tones, due to which I
will not recommend it.
But
the range is promising and has lot of other great everday or office wear shades
to choose from which I am definitely trying soon!

DeleteI really like the color! It's a nice lighter cooler pinky nude but I can't do mattes! I need something more moist!
