Hi all!! I will review Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream.

It is said that prevention is better than cure! This is true in case of using an anti aging line. Once you hit your mid twenties, I think it’s a good time to start and consider incorporating an anti aging skin care solution to your daily routine!

I have started using anti aging products last year and have been using it since then. I will review Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream today, which by far, is my most liked product and have already finished two packs.

Ingredients of Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream: Water, Glycerin , Niacinamide , Isohexadecane, Dimethicone , Isopropyl Isostearate, Polyacrylamide, Stearyl Alcohol, Sucrose Plycottonseedate, Cetyl Alcohol, Panthenol , Tocopheryl Acetate , Behenyl Alcohol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Titanium Dioxide , Benzyl Alcohol, Coconut Oil, Dimethiconol, Laureth-7, Fragrance, Ethylparaben, Cetearyl Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol, Peg- 100 Stearate, Stearic Acid, Disodium Edta, Propylparaben, Hydrolized Wheat Protein, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylparaben, Ammonium Polyacrylate.

Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream comes in a regular tub packaging with a black lid, looks good but I would have preferred if, it would have been in a pump as when it comes to cream and lotions, I prefer either tubes or pumps. Tubs aren’t that hygienic. Dipping your finger.. ewww !!

I am glad that the Avon line corrector has a pump.

Anyways, this Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream is a white colored with medium consistency. A pea sized is enough for the entire face and it gets absorbed really soon, that means you just work your way and massage it on your face. Massaging is very important as it boosts the blood circulation and it should be done with circular upwards strokes.

What I really like about Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream is that, it will not make you feel greasy, even if you have oily to combination skin just like me. I use it at night time only as I am currently using Olay day cream for fairness (please note, I do not use fairness creams for fairness but as a decent day cream). No matter what I use during the day but I religiously used this at night.

And I can say that this cream at night is my only anti aging step that I take as of now, which is fine as right now, I am in prevention phase. Right?

Let’s come to the claims now! This cream says .. no the cream can’t talk..:P it’s what the company says .:D that it can lighten the dark spots, which I would say yes, it does up to certain extent as I also use some home remedies so can’t really give it all the credit but it definitely has a role in that!

Another claim says that it reduces wrinkles for which I would say, it may not. Since, I have only fine lines, which are still there but as your skin is soft, supple and moisturized well, it appears plump and thereby lines are not seen much.

Then the last claim says that Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream improves texture which even if it wouldn’t have claimed I would have credited it for! Yes, it has definitely improved my skin texture. My skin looks even toned and supple than it was before. Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream has beta hydroxy which they say lightens the skin tone, may be not lighten but improves.

I have no idea how Olay Age Protect Anti Aging cream is going to fare for mature people who are in their late thirties or forties as their major reason would be to cure wrinkles rather than prevention like us. My mum uses Garnier wrinkle lift which shows great results for her and she has not used this yet else, I would have been able to tell you how it would work for mature skin.

As I mentioned, I have been using it for quite a long time and it has not break me out or made me too greasy. I can say that it’s a great night cream to go for if you are in your mid twenties. This tub lasts for around 2 months for me as I do not take much!

Take: Olay age protect anti aging cream can be a good cream keeping the anti aging point in mind. It is decent for even oily to combination skin types and can be used at night without feeling too greasy. Over the time it improves skin texture though can’t eliminate existing wrinkles. I will recommend it to those of you who are thinking of using an anti aging night cream.
