Maybelline Colossal Kajal Review

I the last one to review this Maybelline Colossal kajal? Ummm.. May be not, as this is
one such product that will have the everlasting fan following unless they
change it’s formulation to something that smudges!!
Now, you
might be thinking, why She isn’t posting any eye makeup on weekends for the past
two weeks?
I
actually changed my eyebrows shape recently and then I realize the earlier one was better as
the latest one I did was a bit flatter. It looked good but as I have a chubby
face it did nothing much for that. I mean arched brows which is my natural
shape, looks better and gives some sharpness to the face! Which is why I want them back and.... the current state of my
unruly and scattered brows going all north west south... couple of strands towards east.. is something I bet you
don’t want to look!Okay so back to this maybelline colossal kajal now!

Moving
on!! Let me tell you, I have never been a kajal lover ever, Mum use to put kajal
while I was in school but as a grown up or teenager I never used it except
occasionally!!
Now,
I use them for certain eye looks but look at the power of colossal... it has
finally attracted me too!

Colossal
kajal is priced at 175 INR for 0.35 g and with a good shelf life of 24 months,
earlier it was 125 and 145 but still you can get it for that less! You may buy it here
First
of all, I like its twist up bright yellow packaging, beautiful!! The lid is
pointed at the top and when it wears off it will get a bit blunt but it can be
easily and comfortably used as a kajal/ kohl or as an eyeliner.

Pigmentation
is decent but it isn’t too dark but decent for a kohl and the staying power is
something to praise about! As there are other kajals as well with a great dark black color which smudges badly. I can think of one such kohl from Elle 18.
I
swiped it on my hand and it refuses to leave me till I rubbed too vigorously! It’s
like a steal at this price.
On the waterline it stays a lot longer for 6-7
hours, may be more or less depending on your eyes. I mean, if you have watery eyes
then the time span can lessen but smudge proof formula is superb which is the main reason behind it's praise worthy staying power!
It
is safe for contact lens user too as is opthalmologically tested!!

Take:
I am extremely impressed by Maybelline Colossal kajal which has decent
pigmentation with a great staying power and also at that price getting an easy
to use retractable tube packaging is like cherry on the cake, rather than the
ones that you have to sharpen!! All of which makes it a great even if you are a
kohl user/lover or not, if not use it like an eyeliner. It will fare better
than some of the other eyeliners that smudges.

I am using Colossal for last 2 years and I stock it up. But, Niesha, u ditched this time on EOTD ;) ;) I scrolled down to see your eyes with some new experiment but this time, your fingers experimented ;)

Eyebrows frame your face and can bring a massive difference, which is why I wasn't so happy about the new shape so, changing again now! :)
DeleteI use castor oil which helped me to grow them back quickly and then you can also try to fill them which I know you do! :)
