I will review another MAC product today and that is lip liner
from MAC.
What Product Claim Formulated
for a soft, creamy application! Smudge-free and long-lasting definition of the
lips!
My Thoughts: Lip pencils are a great tool to fill in the lips so
that lipstick lasts longer, so I also bought this lip pencil for the same
reason. It is a very pretty purple colour, described by MAC as Vivid
Pinkish-purple. It has equal quantities of fuchsia and purple shade.
The texture is very soft and quite opaque. One swipe gives good coverage. When applied on the lips it gives matte finish and makes lips a bit drier. The colour is very bold and you may be wondering why I bought this shade when already bought MAC rebel. Because the day when I went for my MAC shopping, SA wore the MAC rebel and this pencil underneath and she was looking stunning.

It
can be used with other lipsticks (MAC Impassioned n Girl about Town) as well to
tone them down to purplish. The staying power is great at almost 6-7 hours. I
would say you can even use it on its own as it’s a very pretty shade and looks
really good with black outfits. I wore at work n got so many compliments. I
love bright n bold shades and I have number of purple or pink shade lipsticks
so can be worn underneath for different combinations. The colour brightens up
my mood, face and looks. It is quite a unique shade but if u use with MAC Rebel
it looks even more stunning. You can apply any lip balm or gloss which can
definitely take care of dryness part. The colour payoff is excellent. It
applies evenly and I found the texture very creamy n soft. The formula is very
nice you can use it while lining the outer edges of lips and best used
underneath a more opaque lipstick and one that is slightly hydrating or
moisturizing. It does not smudge at all but I would agree with pulls and drags
on the lips. It is daily office wearable or can wear at evening parties
depending on your choice. It is perfect for winter/fall. The range comes in a wide variety
of shades that work with many different lipstick shades.

Packaging is very simple greyish colour
with colour name and brand name embossed over the body of pencil with silver
colour. The end part matches with the colour. You have to sharpen this pencil
as not retractable. It is very light weight and quite sturdy so can be carried
in purse while travelling.

Pros:
Great variety of shades
Can be used on its own or underneath any lipstick
Creamy & soft texture
Does not smudge at all
Colour doesn’t transfer
Stays longer for 7 to 8 hours
Suitable for fair to medium skin tones
Cons:
A bit expensive
Can make your lips drier on application
Need to use lip gloss or balm over it to get rid of dryness
It can accentuate lines but does not settle

This review is a reminder that I should start using the many lip pencils cluttered in my dressing table. I agree that it accentuates and I can see the effect on you. The colors is vibrant, fit perfectly for your shade.
