W7 Power Pout Lip Gloss in Missie and Poppy La La Review and swatches

I will share a review of W7 Power Pout lip glosses. Although I am not a big fan of lip glosses but their packaging and different applicator tempted me to check them out and I bought two very pretty shades from local shop named Dazzle in Derby Westfield centre.

My Thoughts: I bought two shades Missie and Poppy LaLa; love the names. :D

Missie is very pretty pink shade which would suit medium to fair skin beauties and goes best with Indian and western attires alike. It looks more pinky pink in the bottle but on lips it comes out pink under purplish tone. It is quite a regular wearable shade and gives sheerer look to my lips. It is superbly pigmented, one swipe gives full coverage. Best point is it does not stick at all. But it only stays 2-3 hours on my lips but leaves an even pretty pink tint after heavy meal or drink. The quality is amazing and price easily affordable. 

Poppy La La is dark pink, magenta kind of shade which would suit all skin beauties. It is also a wearable shade and perfect for summers. It makes your lips fuller and sexy without drying them. Totally brightens up the face and mood. I love bright shades, so this one is my favorite. It gets opaque in 1 swipe. It does not stick to your hair which is a plus point.

Packaging: The glosses come in a round shape bottle with a black lid. The lower part of the body describes the color. Brand name is embossed on the body with black color. The main motto of this gloss “One swoop volume lips” is written on the gloss. The shade name and ingredients mentioned on the back of the bottle with white color. It comes with a unique sponge tip applicator. It is quite big but bended towards the middle that helps in precise application of the product.  

Texture:  It is thick and creamy in texture but not slippery. It does feel very light on the lips: when I put swatches on the hand I found the texture heavy & creamy but on lips it felt weightless, so quite impressed with that. In short the formula is very comfortable and moisturizing on the lips. No fragrance so won’t bother anyone. :D

Pigmentation: Superbly pigmented and 1swipe gives good coverage. It is non-sticky and glides smoothly on application.

Staying Power: It stays no more than 2-3 hours although I don’t mind reapplying. It doesn’t settle on fine lines or make lips look patchy, dry or flaky.

My take: I really adore these cute babies. These glosses may not be very long wearing but creamy in texture, good pigmentation, available in 6 shades and not sticky at all. If you are a lip gloss fan then you can definitely add this one to your vanity. It gives a nice shine to lips and very light weighted. Perfect for summer!!
