Smokey purple gold eye makeup: Valentine's Special

Happy Valentine’s Day to all
of you!!
Today, I will share this
look with you which I came up with yesterday night. This look is very wearable
and suitable for both day and night time makeup.

In this look I used four eye
shadows:
A matte brown as a base and
on the crease especially
A gold corner on the inner
lid (Colorbar copper crush)
Matte black on the inner
corner (Faces canada palette)
A purple on the centre of
the lid (Inglot)
Clinique mascara

My camera was not able to
pick up the purple color perfectly so this is the first time that I have used
flash.
I think flash worked quite
well to show the true colors used. I am thinking of using it more often for the
eye makeup now.:D

I have used Maybelline dream mousse liquid foundation.
Elle 18 color burst in Rusty. I was surprised by how pretty rusty is. I have used and reviewed it but
have never loved it that much but i am in love with this shade. I topped on
some clear gloss.

ReplyDeleteYou are right about the flash. Taken from the right length, colors actually show up better in flash photographs as I realized too.

DeleteI have never used flash but when this color was not showing up then had to but i was surprised how good all the colors show in the pic afterwards.
But then have to be careful with foundations else can have a whitecast.
